Teaching Financial Literacy to the Next Generation

On February 3rd, FNC Bank proudly hosted our 4th Annual FNC Bank Reality Fair at Osceola School District, welcoming Juniors from both Osceola and St. Croix Falls High Schools.
This interactive event gave students a hands-on experience of managing real-world finances. From opening a bank account and balancing budgets to making decisions about loans, housing, and vehicle ownership, students got a glimpse into the responsibilities that come with adult financial life.
We couldn’t have made this event a success without the incredible support of volunteers from over 20 local businesses and nonprofits who guided students through various life stations. A huge shoutout to all our volunteers, including representatives from: Christian Community Homes and Services, City of Saint Croix Falls Wisconsin, Dick's Fresh Market, Due North Homes, Edina Realty, Edward Jones, Falls Chamber of Commerce, FNC Bank, F&M Plastics, Job Well Done - Virtual Assistance, Krumm Exteriors, LLC, Mighty Ducts Midwest, Osceola Medical Center, Osceola School District Staff, River Valley Kennels, SF Insurance Group, St. Croix Falls School District Staff, St. Croix Health, Stein Insurance, Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours & Taylors Falls Canoe & Kayak Rental, The Open Cupboard of Osceola, WI, The RiverGroup Financial Advisors, Village of Osceola, Seth Willard, and Debbie Lundgren.
The Fair also wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration of Osceola and St. Croix Falls High Schools. They provided the venue, transportation, and most importantly, their commitment to the importance of financial literacy.
At FNC Bank, we’re dedicated to helping build a stronger financial foundation for our community’s youth, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s Reality Fair unforgettable.
